ABOUT FIBRE POTPOURRI

Fibre Potpourri is the annual provincial needlecraft weekend, featuring Workshops or a Stitchers’ Retreat.

It takes place at Red Deer Polytechnic in Red Deer, Alberta every year in late May or early June.

The Edmonton Needlecraft Guild and the Calgary Guild of Needle and Fibre Arts host on alternate years.

FIBRE POTPOURRI AND EAC SEMINAR HISTORY

Since 1977 The Edmonton Needlecraft Guild (ENG) and the Calgary Guild of Needle and Fibre Arts (CGNFA) have co-sponsored (every second year, excluding seminar years when the guild is hosting seminar) a provincial seminar.

It has been held at Camrose Lutheran College, Olds College, and currently at Red Deer College. As well as workshops there is an option to attend as a retreat and renew friendships and catch up on ongoing projects.
