Over the years, our Programming has included demos, classes, and group projects that have been taught or led by our members during our meetings.

2024-25
TEACHER: Donna C.
Learn the basics of Petit Point by stitching small samples on canvas and silk gauze to decide which you prefer to work on. You will then be able to select your individual project from a collection of rare vintage petit point kits to start your main project.
TEACHER: Janet M.
Use scraps of different fabrics to build your landscape. The pieces will be held in place with different stitches. Other embellishing includes embroidered flowers, bits of lace and sheers.
2023-24
TEACHER: Erika B.
Each month, you will learn a surface stitch family and its variations. Practice Simple Running Stitch and Back Stitch, Chain Stitch and Lazy Daisy, Stem Stitch and Blanket Stitch, beginning on Aida cloth and moving to Linen for your final project.

This traditional Italian folk embroidery is a combination of Blackwork and Cross Stitch.

Blackwork band worked in double running stitch embellishing a mini Christmas stocking.

These kits include a variety of fabrics and fibres around which a series of INSPIRATIONAL STITCHES has been developed.
